My name is Dennis Grimes. While I do most kinds of Photography, my passion is Wedding Photography. I am doing wedding photography because this is what I love to do. I really love my job of seeing couples celebrating the beginning of life together. I try to capture the images showing the love and respect the Bride and Groom have for each other. The emotion and interactions of the family and close friends need to be captured and remembered for a life time too. Imagine 30 years from now looking at your images, whether they are in an album, print, digital or who knows what and the feelings they will bring back o that special day.

I am continually attending schools and workshops as well as online studies of photography. The field is changing fast and while the so important basics remain the same, I want to keep up with what is new.

I am a Member of Professional Photographers of America, Texas Professional Photographers, Brazos Valley Professional Photographers and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International.

Engagement Images

If possible I would like to shoot the engagement session at places that have special meaning to you as a couple. It might be where he asked you to marry him or someplace you spent a lot of time growing closer to each other. Years later when look at these images I want to bring back the magic of your romance.
Dark colors make you look thinner and Light colors make you look heavier. Solid colors look better in the image. Patterns , strips etc. draw attention away from the important part of the image, the couple. It is nice wear the same type of clothes for the session.
I would like to talk over what you want to wear for the session. I would like to capture a series of images that has a lot of meaning to you. Locations and dress can greatly influence this. Sometime bringing two outfits might be answer. One set that has special meaning for you, and one that might be better for a more timeless image.

Your vision of the Wedding

You’re a special couple and you’re getting married this most special day, merits special treatment. Dennis understands the importance of your wedding day, and this is reflected in the personal attention you’ll receive when you book him as your wedding photographer.
If possible I like to meet with the bride at the wedding venue prior to the wedding. I want to understand her vision of what the wedding is going to be. Understanding this will help me capture the event in the way she wants to remember it.
